 SHIPPING POLICIES

  1. Handmade-to-Order Process: Every product in your order will be expertly crafted upon receipt of your purchase. As a result, our standard processing time for all orders is within 3 to 5 business days, excluding weekends, shipping time, and holidays.

  2. Shipping Charges: When purchasing multiple items in a single order, shipping charges are applied to the overall purchase, not individual items.

  3. Shipping Address: Shipments are dispatched to the address provided during the checkout process. If you wish to have your order delivered to a different address, kindly inform us at the time of purchase.

  4. Buyer Responsibility: We cannot be held responsible for errors made by buyers, such as shipping to outdated or invalid addresses. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure their preferred address is up-to-date.

  5. Lost or Stolen Items: While we are not liable for lost or stolen items, we will make every effort to assist the buyer in resolving any issues.

  6. Shipping Options: Shipping costs do not include insurance or signature confirmation (applicable to US domestic orders only). These options can be selected during the shipping process for an additional fee, and it is the buyer's responsibility to choose these options if desired.

  7. Domestic Shipping: All domestic orders are shipped via USPS Ground Advantage, with an estimated transit time of 2-6 days (excluding processing time). Expedited shipping options, such as Priority or Overnight, can be arranged upon request.

  8. International Shipping: International orders do not include delivery confirmation due to carrier limitations. To explore alternative shipping options, please contact us directly. International orders may experience varied delivery times, and additional customs fees and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

  9. Customs Fees: Virginia Wynne Designs does not cover customs fees, and orders will not be marked as gifts. Import duties and taxes incurred upon reaching your country are the recipient's responsibility.

  10. Returned Shipments: In the event that a shipment is returned to sender (e.g., due to an incorrect address or failure to pick up from the post office), the buyer is responsible for purchasing a new label for reshipment.

REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICIES

  1. Communication: For any concerns or questions, please reach out to us via email promptly. This ensures that we have the opportunity to address and resolve any issues or mistakes effectively.

  2. Exchanges:

    • Exchanges are available for rings and bracelets to correct the fit. Please note that we will only exchange for fit one time.
    • Custom-ordered items, such as custom cutouts for large circle earrings, are not eligible for refunds.
  3. Returns:

    • A 30-day return period is applicable to all items, excluding customized items, from the date of receiving the order.
    • Buyers are responsible for return shipping, and the order must be in its original packaging, unused, and unworn. Damaged or used items may incur a restocking fee of up to 25%, and shipping costs will not be refunded.
  4. Custom Orders:

    • No returns are accepted on any custom orders. All sales of custom work are final.
  5. Damaged in Transit:

    • In the event of mail damage, please document all damages with photos and contact us promptly. We will assess the situation and determine the appropriate action at our discretion.
  6. Shipping Responsibilities:

    • Shipping costs, including handling charges, are non-refundable.
    • Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with exchanges or returns.
  7. International Orders:

    • No returns or refunds will be provided for items returned on international orders due to the buyer not paying additional import duty, taxes, and/or customs charges and fees.
  8. Exchange Procedure:

    • Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of the item being received, as per the delivery confirmation.
    • Items must be in the original packaging and unused/unworn.
    • Exchanges can only be made for items of equal or greater value, with the buyer covering any price difference.
    • The exchange will be processed upon the return of the item, excluding shipping. The buyer is responsible for return postage.
  9. Shipping Recommendations:

    • Properly package items to prevent damage during shipping. Envelopes may not provide sufficient protection, and damaged items may result in additional charges.
  10. Custom Work:

    • Custom work is not eligible for a refund or exchange. All sales of custom work are final.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES

  1. Variations in Handmade Items: As each item is meticulously handmade, there may be slight variations between the photographed item and the one you receive. Please be aware of this unique aspect of handmade products. For any clarifications, feel free to contact us.

  2. Earrings on Models: Earrings photographed on models are sample items. Rest assured, the items you receive have not been worn.

  3. Lost Earrings: If you happen to lose one earring and wish to replace it, please contact us. We'll be happy to create a custom link in our shop for you. The replacement cost will be half of the price of the full pair, plus shipping. It's important to note that we are not responsible for the loss of any earring(s).

  4. Return Policy: Packages returned without prior notification to the Seller regarding exchanges or returns will not be accepted. Kindly contact us to facilitate any exchanges or returns.

  5. Custom Requests: We welcome custom requests and are excited to collaborate with you on your ideas. Feel free to send us a message, and we'll be happy to work together to create something special.

  6. Tarnishing of Jewelry: Jewelry may tarnish over time. It is the buyer's responsibility to understand the materials and metals in their purchase and be aware of the maintenance required to preserve the pieces' brightness and shine. For optimal care, use an appropriate jewelry cleaner for each piece. Exercise caution with certain stones and pearls to avoid damage.
